Andial 930
Has this car been discussed before? It's been for sale for a long time. Anyone know the story of this car? Has paperwork showing it as an authentic Andial car. Thanks Scott |

That's a serious looking car, if a PPI checks out it would be a solid buy.

I'd want to know when Andial built the motor, and see the receipt. Also a pre purchase chassis dyno run.

For comparison, here is a photo of my 77 930 with some receipts from Andial. Not only is the intercooler custom made by Andial but also has a 12 lead with twin plugs, a Ruf 5spd and period Weltmeister racing suspension, upgraded race brakes and some special body parts to accommodate the two extra oil coolers and a raised whale tail to cover the much higher intercooler, early wider titanium BBS wheels, among other things. I bought this vintage CA street racer From Checkered Flag International, Long Beach, around around 15 years and 10K miles ago with boost never over 1.1 bar since using 100 or more octane leaded fuel. The motor was re rebuilt by Andial about 4K miles before I bought it. Still in show condition and runs very strong with no leaks. With modded early 930 prices where they are perceive to be at, a keeper for sure. ![]()

As far as I'm concerned, case closed, it's real. Nice documentation from the man himself. So if upon a current inspection all is still well, it is a very special car, with some very nice build stuff, especially now that the Andial brand is owned by Porsche NA, and according to what I read, has been considered part of the Porsche family. It's a modded 930, so what, if done by Andial. That's a cut above most modded ones. Think of a Andial modded Porsche as a NART is to a modded Ferrari, to some ( me included ), added value.
