Which wheels??

Ok, guys... I have a dilemma. Wondering which wheels to put tires on... Tell me which set you like on the car better, and why.

Definetly the jet. It sure would suck to blow a tire right after touchdown.

Seriously, the 965 style. I always liked the looks of those. Your mods only enhance that look.

Twist-type wheels just don't do it for me on a 930 so I'll take door number 2.

For my part, I'd go the oposite way of jsveb (no offense.. )

I would go with picture #2

- They look lighter
- You can see the internals a little more (brake and discs).
- They have more of a Ruf style in them...

Yep, I'd go with #2

#2. Racing dynamics are they? I always liked them. Yeah they look ruf-ish which is nice but mostly they're not twists. I've always tried to like twists but couldn't ever really find myself liking them.

I like both but prefer the twists a little better, the second 5 spoke wheels don't have much personality for that car, in my opinion. I'd love the look of some Fikse Mach V's on there.

I've always really admired your build, but the twists never did it for me either

I somewhat like the Borbet looking things in pic 2, but compared to pic one I almost like the twists better?

The Borbets just look kinda meh to me?

Sorry, real helpful huh?

Maybe plasti-dip the Borbet looking ones to a gunmetal or grey? Would compliment / suit your build better.

Maybe pitch both and start from scratch? lol real helpful huh?

After looking at this post for the 3rd time I think Paul nailed it. The plasti-dip could give you many more options.

Go with whichever wheels are lighter. I'd be torn between the two styles. Your car will look meaner with flat black #2 wheels. So..I'd go with plasti-dip #2 wheels.

Merlin...you can always plasti-dip the rims to see if that's the look you want. I bet your car will look more beastly.

I quite like the twists. 3 piece wheels look more purposeful and better suited to the race car look imho

Picture 2 says I get tracked, I watch what I eat and I care that my wheels are light
Picture 1 says I have enough power to make up for picture 2

Merlin, Your rims look awesome as is but I am a sucker for blacked out rims, see my previous car, people loved my black wheels. Maybe you should give it a try. Maybe use plastidip incase you want to switch back?
