Installing twin plug Clewett wires

Hi Guys i just got new Clewett upper and lower sets of spark plug wires last night, and noticed that for the lowers I need to attach the ends on them after I feed them thru my engine tin. Unfortuantely I noticed this then got sidetracked doing other work and failed to see if I actually need a tool to make these connections or how I actually make these connections. Any advice would be appreciated, I couldn't find much info on google or Clewetts site and if I need a tool i'd like to get it on my way home tonight.

Thanks!

I used Richard's wires for my twin plug set up, too. You'll need a spark plug wire crimping tool. I picked one up for about fifty-sixty dollars - worked perfectly. No need to spend big bucks, but neither would I buy one of the twenty dollar el-cheapo models.

The Clewett wires have a cloth covering, so you'll need to carefully slice through that (without cutting into the actual wire sheathing) with a razor blade or similar edged weapon. Then use the crimping tool for everything else. Keep your multimeter handy and check the impedance of each wire as you construct it - you'd hate to get them all installed only to find you failed to get a good connection on one.

Building plug wires is actually kinda fun, but get the right tools or you'll likely end up disagreeing.

Ok so I come home to find out that they already have the ends crimped, just have to slide the boot on, much easier than I thought!
