I just bought this car
Engine number is 68H00212
Vin number 9309800996
Is this number correct for a 79

68H00212 is a 1987 type 930.68 US 930 Turbo engine. The correct engine type for your 1979 North American 930 would be 930.63 (California) or 930.64 (49 State) with a serial number 689xxxx.
