Red & white DP935's
I can't find the old post, but there was a red DP935 at a Florida dealer posted here. It was up on ebay recently, asking price $99k. I thought it was a very cool car with some interesting special features. I believe this is the same car, now at "exotic cars of Houston", asking price $129.5K.
1986 Porsche 911 Turbo DP 935 II Here's a white dp935 targa on ebay. To me, in poor condition. A German gentleman sent me the link on the white DP, along with some general information. DP is licensed as a manufacturer with then own vin #'s, as on the white '84 targa. They starting making turbo targa's in '83-'84 for export only, vs the factory '87 introduction.

The speedometer face on the white one looks like it was created on a poor quality ink-jet printer and cut out by my granddaughter.

Thanks for posting....no really thanks, I need to lose weight anyway. Mark |

I'll bet it still smells like the cologne of the spoiled Arab college kid who drove it new.

First a 356 is sacrificed to the " genius" of Foose now Reality TV thinks the Gas Monkeys can add something to this car. High entertainment. I'm surprised these jacks didn't pull the motor and plug in a Ford flathead. Hey, I'm sure no one has ever done that before, right?

The red one is a TRUE SUPERCAR in my mind, truly worth the $100K+ price tag.
The white one looks like a rip-off special.

At $42,500 reserve not met + going through the entire car including a color the red one at $99K was a much better deal.
Here's a black targa, my all time favorite. I would trade my coupe for that one. ![]()
