I run an aeromotive A1000 with EFI.
That's on a 930 that has run 700+HP at the wheels on a dyno jet. Great fuel pump with no issues. It's able to keep consistent fuel pressure of 42 PSI under all conditions. A1000 Fuel Pump - Aeromotive |

I have the A1000 mounted on the floor of the front trunk next to the fuel cell.
I can't remember the brand of the regulator and I'm not using a surge tank. I hope this helps...... ![]() |

I've ran an Aeromotive on a different car and twin 044's. These are both plenty for big hp.

Running twin Bosch 044's and a Fuelabs FPR; EFI 544fwhp/514lbft as measured on an engine dyno.
ETA - stock 964 in-tank filter before the first pump, then stock 965 filter after second pump and before the injection rail

Here is my 2 on twin pumps Efi and big boost/ power. If and when you are boosting big and one pump fails you just went lean big time. If your single takes a crap you shut down. I know there are safeguards one can take in the programming but .....

That is a very good point. Better to have to call a flatbed than call Mahle.

Porsche race cars always had at least two fuel pumps in parallel. They would run with only one fuel pump but they had 2 or 3 in parallel so if one failed during an endurance or sprint race the car could still finish.
