Lowering rear end on a 76

So my 76 930 rear suspension is not adjustable, and I would love to have it a little lower.

The front is easy, but I would like to drop the rear to match it.

If I was to drop the car 1 spline on the rear torsion bar, how much drop would I expect?

Cheers.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1433969516.jpg

I did the entire lower the rear on my 76 last summer. If you believe the pundits that car could be worth good money. So any money you invest now you'll get back. 31mm torsion bars, sway away spring plates. Poly bushings but grease them. Tarett sway bars, Bilstein hd or sport, lower it down to 24.25. It gives you the width of a finger between the wheel and your fender lip.

Thanks Les, The car is one of the 400 homoligation cars. The money is not really relevant. I dreamed about this car for more than half my life.

I have gone through the entire front end and replaced all the components that you would expect too. Cleaned cleaned and cleaned.... I am doing more of a preservation than a restoration. There are very few of these cars and too many are being over restored. As much as I love an immaculate nut and bolt restoration, and can do it all myself. I feel like this is the wrong car to wipe the slate clean on.

I will soon go through the rear end and do all the bushes, wheel bearings, calipers and discs. At that time I will drop the ride height a little.
