Shipped the engine.

I feel really odd. I just shipped my engine off for trade. It's gone, out of my hands and in some warehouse or the back of some semi trailer headed to Alabama. I'll never see it again. It's a strange feeling.
I am hopeful and feel nice knowing that I'm in trustworthy hands with the trade though. Once Rarley gets it I'll feel better. I insured it for $25k so I guess that helps.
In trade im getting a Fresh 3.3 from a 79 930. That will be nice. One it gets home quick.

Definitely leaving something on the table with the 3.0. Let the collectors put them back on the early cars. You made the right decision, no more worries about blowing up something that is worth more just because of collector status. Get as much power as you can afford $$$ out of that 3.3 and don't look back!

This is precisely why I did it. Engine is great. Loved it. No complaints. I just wanted this engine in the correct car. Mine is cool but maybe not worthy.
It's exciting seeing the fresh one though. Thanks Brian.

So…will this be a transplant into the car which has that great interior you worked on? Or is there another in the stable that needs a new heart?

Same car as before.
It's going to feel like a different car when done I can tell you. It will be too. Nothing is the same inside and out. Body, paint, interior, engine and transmission are all different. Brakes and suspension are the same I guess.
Suspension is next though. I want to raise the spindles and get stance without sacrificing ride.
