Don' worry Ronniekins, I know exactly who to find in TexASS when I've got swampazz and need 29.5 F air blown down my shorts.

Must be a generational thing. As a young cat, I adore a lowered (NOT STANCED) 930 with a crazy motorsport inspired widebody and aggressive setup. I love the RWB look, but the older guys prefer the sedate stock look with lots more altitude.
**** resale, drive it like ya stole it. have fun. |

Having had my 76 since 85 I've seen many trends. DP was huge then, they look 85 ricer to me now. Gemballa pretty out there but so gaaaaaaayish now. Ruf cool then still cool. I don't mind the looks of the RWB's but I sure wouldn't mod that direction.
In fact as an older typical 930 owner I'm not doing anything else ever to my car. I promise ![]() Strangely I've gravitated back to the stock look and would go back to it just to sell it if I ever had to sell.

Seriously. 930 guys are no worse or better. The "original 1980 tires" TV dinner club is everywhere.

Brent, you will easily get into the 40s, possibly below even, depending on how many extra condensers there are. Griff's gear and service/tech support is top dog. I had never heard of his shop when I began building my a/c, piecemeal style, but am very familiar with him now. Getting one of his kits is definitely the way to go if one can afford it, and doesn't want to mix and match parts - also an excellent choice for a novice a/c guy since his tech support sets the bar.
Agreed on the "930 guys" part of your post - plenty of the similar stuff over here. I'm sure that others would say that I start my own knitting circle every time the subject of dilivar studs comes up over here (and the laugh-out-loud subject of "valuation", too, buttofcourse)! I didn't mean my "you should look at the 911 forum . . ." as a dig on the forum or 911 owners in general (for once ), but know that some/many of the peeps that post over here do not look at that forum.

![]() I also don't think all aversion to RWB is due to cutting up an original 911/930. I know guys with pretty hot-RODded 911s that dislike RWB, just for aesthetic reasons. But the keeping it stock knitting circle really harshes my buzz, man... I'm reminded of the famous line from Glickenhaus about not driving your Ferrari.

GREAT point on the fuchs wheels. Some cars would look 50x better if correct wheels were fitted on them and not the cheapest fuchs without a lip they could find.. |

I took a little drive to Calgary a couple weeks ago to visit some friends, and check out the RWBYYC build at tunerworks. The paint and fit and finish of the bodykit was nice, although I found it a little disappointing that they didn't really fix up the interior, or do anything to the motor, bone stock.
