Shift coupler - Ed the Whisperer
Free for someone who could use it here.
Years ago I bought new delrin bushings from a former Pelican Ed (RIP) and ran them on my car for a few thousand miles. It was an improvement from old whipped stock ones but anything would have been. On a $200 gamble that maybe I didn’t need a transmission overhaul, I purchased a wevo joint coupler. Nope, I needed a transmission overhaul. Came across this in my Porsche box of stuff and thought maybe someone could use it. The only issue I had with it was that after a short amount of time, the through-pin would migrate out one side or the other of it. I ended up employing a worm drive clamp to keep it between the bushings. Looks a little hacky, but it is 100% functional and of course hidden under the access plate and carpet.
