3.2 turbo
Looking for some input. First I have two aircooled 911s. One with stock motronic. One with a new itb set up from factory x. Is motronic or itb better for turbo. I can switch one to the other car pretty easy. How much can a 84 3.2 take and still be reliable. Is there a thread of what's needed to get this rolling. Thx

The 3.2 is based on the 930 3.3. It can take a lot of power.
Motronic is not great for boost, but Protomotive makes components that make it work. ITB's. Which ones? Carb type or EFI? ITB's with EFI would be the hands down best with boost. |

JustTheTIPpy, butt he won't be about to run much boost pressure if he intends to keep the stock pistons, correct (static compression is too high, right)? Still a very good bump in power, but the stock compression ratio will really limit how much can be added. . .

Yes it's a fi itb. If I was to go this route. I'd think I'd lower static compression. Maybe 8 to 1 . Where look for pistons? What brand. And so on. Would like to at least double what I have now power wise. Cheers

With ITB's and stock CR, I'd imagine you could double hp with low boost.
