Turbo 3.2 Heat Solution

Hey guys, I'm accumulating parts to turbocharge my 3.2 and right now I'm trying to solve how heating is going to work, as well as retaining the factory AC. I intend to retain the factory heat exchangers.

To my mind the AC compressor prodcludes air coming out of the RHS of the main engine fan so it has to come out of the left. I've found part number 930.106.321.01 which allows me to get rid of all the blower fan and pipework on the LHS of the engine and route direct to a scat pipe.

But what happens after that? Seems to me the scat pipe needs to go through the tinware on the side of the engine so I'm guessing I need to cut / blank off holes or replace with 930 tinware? But once through the tinware I'm concerned about the location of the neck of the heat exchanger as it may interfere with the turbo. So what is the solutiuon for joining the scat pipe to the heat exchangers and then connecting the HE on the other side?

I've attached some images to facilitate the conversation!

All thoughts appreciated.

Just use tinware from a 930. I also believe from an SC and older tinware is very similar if not identical. You would also need the backdated heat outlets for the fan shroud. There is a special one that is no longer made that you will need on the rightside to clear the AC compressor. Then under the tinware, you need The 930 hardpipe on the left side and the 90degree elbow after the scat tubing on each heat exchanger inlet. I believe the Carrera setup already has the elbow on the right side. It just has to be cocked in the other direction. If you go to the DC auto website, you can just pull up a parts diagram for a 80s Porsche 930, and it will give you all of the part #s you will need

You only need that tin thing coming out of the fan shroud at nine o’clock that connects to the S-pipe below with the orange hose. I think it was off a ‘86 turbo, but not sure. Better check the PET.
Hope this helps.
