Eibach sway bars on 930??

Good afternoon turbo pelicans, Has anyone tried to fit the relativly new Eibach sway bars under their 930? The kit they offer is for 911's but there is no information concerning the turbo's and if they fit or not. I spoke with Eibach's technical department at length yesterday but was unable to reach a good conclusion. My main concern is the fitment of the front bar and if the 911 mounting points are the same on the A arms as on a turbo. My friend has a 78 SC that we measured the rear sway bar from end to end along with where the bushings and brackets mount and they were the same as on my 86 turbo so I beleive they will work. He didn't have the front bar off at the time so we were unable to measure it. I was willing to let my car be a guinnea pig in exchange for a discount but they didn't bite and dropping my car off with them isn't practical due to my location comparred to them. They are currently on backorder so I went ahead and put my name on the list for a set when the parts come in. I figured I'd give them a try and see if they fit or not unless someone knows that the mounting points are in fact not the same. If they aren't I'll go with plan B. Thanks everyone.......Ben

I had Weltmeister adjustable on my 72 targa and then upgraded to the Tarett adjustable. I would recommend the Tarett over anything, even the RSR ones.

I went with Tarret on the front. Their catalog shows using the same bar for 911/930. They have 2 bar diameters 19.3 or 22mm. I went with the 22mm.

Fit fine on my '87 M491 Turbo look. Only difference between turbo and non in the front would be the tierods and brakes.

Just an update, I was finally able to install the front and rear sway bars and as dbecker mentioned they fit fine. I have only driven it around the block a few times checking for strange noises etc but the car feels a little tighter. If they make half as much of a difference as the new Toyo R888R's I'll be happy. I'll be putting some miles on her this weekend in the name of "testing"!

Update #2
I took the car out this past weekend on one of our test loops along with one of my friends who has a hot rod SC (suspension, motor, tires, etc) to see how my car compares now since adding Wevo semi solid engine mounts, bigger sway bars, and better tires. Before changing those things depending on the loop we chose he could run off and leave me anytime he wanted (proved this many times lol) and I would only be able to make up ground on the straights before him loosing me again. Now with stickier tires and tighter suspension the tables have turned and it's like driving a totally different car. I actually have confidence going into turns and the car doesn't have torque steer when boost comes on like before along with tires that don't follow every line and hump in the road. I've been missing out for way too long, this is how a Porsche is supposed to drive!
