Turbo oil return line filter/cooler?

OK, I know the factory plumbing dumps the HOT turbo return oil to the tank and this feeds the pressure pump hot dirty oil. I am laying out the plumbing I will need to change to put in a small spin on filter. I plan on removing the rear AC condenser from the deck lid and I thought it would be pretty easy to put an oil cooler here so all the hot turbo oil cools off before going back to tank. What says the collective brain trust here? Is a bit more pressure drop going to cause the scavenge pump any problem?

Just put it into the engine breather cover, that way it's returned to the tank by the main scavenge pump and goes thru the main filter. Much simpler, no need for another filter or cooler.

Yes that's an option, seems rather boring. I will keep that in mind though. Anyone know the volume of oil out of the turbo return? With this I could estimate the heat load on the cooler.

I'll take boring and reliable any day.
