Fuel gauge
Any help will be much appreciated.
The issue I found today when taking a drive before our new club meeting tomorrow. Was that the fuel gauge was showing empty. So a u turn to the petrol station and the result was 26ltr and she was full. When I returned home I checked the wiring and all looks OK. When turning the key the gauge needle jumps from its resting spot up by 5mm to the empty level on the gauge. Yet the tank is full. What could be the possible cause ? Thanks Steve. |

float stuck at the bottom.
pull the sending unit out and make sure it moves up and down

Drove today only to find the fuel gauge is working fine.
Not sure why. But happy. |
