Intercooler question
 

Is an intercooler effective with a car with AC coils that cover the entire deck opening?

It should be. Of course efficiency goes down as hot air from the condenser will go through it instead of ambient. For data reference, I’ve had 2 different inter coolers on my 3.2; 1 a ‘vertical’ flow, and 1 a ‘horizontal’.

Both exhibited about 10-15*s additional heat to the intake over ambient.

Point is, I think it’s probably ok as long as full bay. Half bay I’d be hesitant, but no data to go on.
