It would be fun to see a quick list from each of the engine builders who frequent this forum to list their favorite 3.2 street car combo. I know many of the top builders have their own secret sauce, when it comes to special builds. I'm thinking something the average home enthusiast can source parts and build, knowing it will work well. I know for a real engine builder it's more than just assembling a couple boxes of parts but we newbies have to start somewhere. :-) |

We have been working hard here developing new parts for these engines, dating back to the 73/74 engines and up to the 964/993 engines. This stuff wont be for all as it comes at a higher cost. We try to differentiate ourselves from the rest and quality is how we do it. Its for those that would like a higher level of engineering. Some of what we have looked at are, New Pistons, Cylinders, lightweight steel Rods, Head studs, Camshafts, Valves springs, through bolts, perimeter fasteners, etc, We have most and should have the rods here by next week. Then I'll make a new post and show them off. Photos make for a better story. |
I think Neil’s development of new internals for the 3.2 is very impressive. Thank you Neil for accepting this build specification challenge.
I’d add two divisions to this discussion - a stock 3.2 manifold specification and an ITB specification. Thanks again, Steve |
