New twist

I'm not certain if anyone has posted this but a customer asked if he could use 964 cam towers on a conventional 3.0 engine.
The issue was cam feed lines and here's what we did.
The obvious benefit of 964 /993 valve covers and the increasing availability (or lack there of) for 3.0/3.2 cam towers.

Henry,

Great way to extend the life of the 3.0/3.2L engines, as parts run short and new replacements get more and more expensive!

How is the insert sealed to the housing?

Press fit with a bonding agent.
