1975 2,7 CIS engine not ideling when warm
 
A friend of mine has a 2,7 CIS engine that is not ideling when up to working temperature. Any suggestions from the community ?

Not much information to go by… but I would Check for air leaks, then adjust the CO screw like you would adjust a carburator for highest idle. Then adjust the idle air screw to set the idle to 950 rpm. Start here and see what results you get. Report back to next steps if needed. If a COMPLETE tune up has not been done that is also Avery good place to start.

Classic 911,

Without knowing the fuel pressures (control, system, and residual) you would be working blind. Don’t forget to check your ignition and valve timing, spark plugs, etc. and most important, sources of air leak.
