KAMAX v ARP v Porsche Flywheel Bolts

Hi has anyone an opinion on the plus and minus of the options? Also does anyone re-use these bolts?

Thanks Neven

Get the ARP bolts. They are the best and can be reused!

On my 6 bolt flywheels, I torque to 150 lbs/ft after adding carefully a little red Loctite. I have had, alas, more occasions to torque my flywheels onto the crank than I would have liked, and I have always (after the first two times when I used stock torque on an 8,000 rpm motor) reused these bolts. Easy enough to break loose as needed with an impact wrench. If ARP offers a bolt for this purpose which has a head design for something other than a triple square in-hex and is more positive (at least in appearance), that would be a plus, as the shallow headed stock bolt leads to some worry when applying the torque wrench on installation. But the stock ones do the job for race motors.

On my stock 9 bolt motor I just bought new ones, as they are of smaller diameter and didn't cost much. But not for the 6 bolt version. So for cost savings, use what you have. If one is damaged, I'd compare costs.
