2.4T running well 5min, then deteriorating. Ignition off-on, car runs again well 5min

We recently removed the motor to do some maintenance. The K-Jetronic was not removed.

The car now runs well for approx. 5 min, then rapidly deteriorates. Turning the ignition off and on fixes the problem - for 5 min when it starts to deteriorate again.

We suspect an ignition problem which we are investigating but wanted to put this out there to find the issue faster.
