Solution for valve clearance needed

Having attempted the Bruce Anderson 2.2 to 2.5 conversion and started final assembly I discovered I have Zero valve clearance
The only 2 alternatives I have come up with so far is adding 3x .5 mm base gaskets,
which will unfortunately lower the C/R or start again with pocketed pistons.

Those pistons were designed to work with the anemic CIS cams in the 2,7 motors.

I'm guessing you have either carb, MFI or other hot cams?

If that is the case, your best bet is to get pistons designed for use with performance cams.

A 2.7 CIS piston (8:1 compression) on a short stroke crank makes 7.2:1 compression maybe. New pistons make sense. If low compression works for you,
I have a nice set of used Mahle 2.7RS pistons with new Goetze rings you can buy for $ 1,000.

I'm using the original 1970 T cams but didn't realize they were incompatible .

I may well be interested in the Mahle pistons and rings Henry , If you could send some pictures and an shipping estimate to Ontario Canada I would appreciate it.

Here is the piston and cylinder set. I would be willing to sell the pistons and rings separately.

Shipping depends on method. I would guess $ 85 USPS.
