valve job recomendations 88 carrera
Looking for quality valve guide service in Pacific Northwest. I'm in southern Oregon.
Tks in advance. |
Easy answer: Dick Elverud, at Northwest Machine Products. Hillsboro, OR, near Portland. 503-502-1609. also does any other Porsche specific machine work, like replacing rocker arm bushings. Usually fast turnaround too, which is getting very hard to find.

Tried searching and says permanently closed. Address? or phone?
Damn. He may have retired. Phone was in my first response.
He just re-bushed and ground my rockers about a month ago.

I’ll put a solid review out for John Walker. He did my 3.2 and was amazing to work with. You can find him here for direct contact or dm me for direct info. He’s up in marysville wa north of Seattle.

Dick Elverud is a god!
If I can recommend someone that maybe is close. Hood River area.
Steve Becker. 949 633 8851. I worked with him building race engines for Porsche (Andial) back in the day. Then he ran his own precision machine shop and the the last couple of years is working rebuilding and machining Porsche engines again. We still work together on projects and I can recommend his quality. |
tks for the help guys: Heads are with dick Elerud now.
Mr. Elverud built my engine back in the 90's. It's at interesting "bit of kit".
+1 for Elverud
