I finally swapped the injectors side to side and the issue remained. I'm back to wondering about timing. I also still need to check voltages at the injectors. And I guess at some point I need to check the cam timing....

Exhaust collector L vs R bank non-symmetry? Aren't they tuned for higher rpm match? making things up again.

I'm reading At the primaries individually. Granted this is only at idle with ir thermostat.

Swapping the injectors is not the same as measuring/comparing the flows. The issue could be in the FD. I had exact same issue once and it was the FD.

Did as in fuel distributor?
I’m using efi so my fuel distributor is not on this car.
I was concerned about a difference in pressure side to side. My car uses the stock fueling system from a 3.2 carrera with larger injectors. Stock regulator.

Yeah, well EFI would likely rule that out. Yes - was referring to the fuel distributor. I had an issue once where one side of my engine was running rich/cold. After checking everything (cam timing etc) I decided it was in the FD. And it was - leaking O rings on one side.
Cam timing would be worth checking. It is not that big a job - not a whole lot different to setting valves - just the inlet side, and finding a way to mount a gauge block. I use the valve cover studs and lock down a steel plate for the block to mount on. You need to pay attention to where you mount the plate - the valves below it want to bang against it as you rotate the engine. If you pick the wrong spot. But it is do-able. Or you may be able to raise the plate a bit for the valves to clear it. You will figure it out. The 1-3 side is the hardest.

I removed the engine the other night and discovered a vacuum line going to the fuel regulator was disconnected. Would this cause my variation from side to side? I’m not 100% sure it wasn’t disconnected with the engine removal. It does sometimes get a little roudy doing that. Here are some pictures for interest.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1743560083.jpg

It was cam timing. My no4 side is late to open compared to the no1 side.
Cam timing.
