The one pic serves the two CIS fuel head questions:
![]() 1) Are the aluminum looking washers in the bag a good replacement for the copper coated (appears as so) washers? 2) Can one still get these teeny fuel filter looking devices which pop inot the top of the fuel head - direclty under the fuel lines? This one is pretty thrashed. The fuel head is off to IA in exchange for a modified IA fuel head -

General rule is that copper sealing rings are used when sealing steel to steel. Aluminum sealing rings are used when seal steel to aluminum.
However one can be used to substitute the other. Most fuel head rebuilders throw the little filters away. To my knowledge there is no place to buy these filters.
