Oil cooler pressure check

I'm looking to have my oil cooler pressure tested and cleaned up.
Could someone give me a suggestion of a shop that would be able to do this and about how much I should expect it to cost? It's on a '77 911s. And I'm in Massachusetts. Some place close by would be nice.

Last time it was running it was leaking a bit and since I've dropped the engine an pulled off the cover to find it was stuffed with leaves, twigs and acorn shells. I haven't pulled the cooler off yet to check the seals, but, thought I better go ahead and get it checked-out.

If you want it pressure tested, I have this and an external cleaning solution.

Call a small aircraft repair shop at your local airport. They should be able to direct you to a shop able to clean test and repair if needed. I think there is an ultrsonic cleaning process. If engine has not experienced a blow up and there is unlikely any trash in it then a rad shop should be able to pressure test it.

Bill can pressure test and sonic clean your cooler for a very reasonable price with extremely quick turn-around.

They also do nondestructive critical analysis for high performance parts.
They do all of our x-ray work. Titanium parts, rods, valves and so on.
They can also manufacture small run machine parts.
Bill's a good guy too.

Sorry to hyjack this thread but has anyone tried the replacement coolers our host sells? I've gone through 3 coolers in the last 5 years. I'd like to try a new one but don't want to cough up 1500 bucks. Right now I have my cooler blocked off and am just using the front bumper cooler. It works ok but track temps are a little high.

Back to Porsche projects.... Thank you to all who responded.

Was able to borrow a pressure tester and try it out. My cooler doesn't hold any pressure for more than a few minutes. I can also hear the faint sound of air hissing out.

And before you ask, yes, I did make sure that the hissing didn't come from the seals. :-)
Just to be sure I dunked the whole thing in a bucket of water and could see at least two spots on the fins where bubbles were streaming out. I guess that means this thing is toast.

Read a bunch of threads here from folks who have had their cooler repaired; some good some not so good. Our host has them priced at only $1250. I guess that means I'm going to be looking for a used replacement. Or would those in the know tell me avoid the headache and get the new one?
