Finally got around to posting some pics

My 1974 Targa rescued from Montreal Garage after sitting for over 20 years. Pulled it 1000+ miles home.

How did that Uhaul tow dolly work out ? I may be looking at pulling a 944 about 170 miles with our 03 Ford explorer V8 and havent towed a car with it yet... Did you run aux tail lights or did the dolly come with them? Ken

The Dolly worked out fine behind the V6 Escape with a class three hitch. We towed the 911 1/2 way across Canada through the hills on the North shore of lake Superior with no problems. The dolly came with tail lights and I just plugged it into the Escape.

Some advice:

-UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES attempt to back up the Dolly with a car on it!!! Trust me I know! I made sure I never got in a position I couldn't drive forward out of.

-I ended up dropping the tire pressures somewhat on the dolly to get a smoother ride as it has no suspension of its own
