Hey Guys, Heat on the coils and boards on top of the intake are not a concern with Electromotive. Here is my 3.4 Turbo twin plug conversion out for its clutch job in 2009. Engine was converted in about 1998 from a 3.2 and has clocked some 300,000 km since its conversion before it sadly went into the wall and barrel rolled at Mosport. I only changed the coils once in about 2007 as preventive maintenance. In my case, we welded two aluminum plates on top of the intake manifold on which the two coil packs of three sit, one on each side. Hard to see the plates because it is all powder coated with the intake. Hope this helps.
