RUF engine evaluation

Hello guys,

Engine was driven before purchase and was strong and does not smoke at all even cold.
In the mean time I have remove the intake, shroud, alternator I have clean the longblock and all parts and I replace almost every seal, hose, flange.
Now as I have no use for it anymore I would like to sell it.
I would like to be as accurate as possible for its condition. Can I perform a leak test out of a car ? Also is good or bad idea to check head studs for proper torque and to adjust the valves as well ?

Thank you SmileWavy

Tasos,

You can perform a leak-down test on the bench by turning the each cylinder to TDC for the time so the valves are closed.

It is hard to tell the value of such engine but full spec list of how it differs from standard 930 engine would help a lot.

In about one month time I will perform an leak down and an compression test to the engine.I will also check head studs and I will adjust the valves.I will also take a lot of clear pictures and I will post them along with engine # to try to find its actual value...
