reuse of 2.2L cast iron cylinders

Can 2.2L cast iron (T) cylinders be reused if within spec and honed or bored out?
What are specs?
Assume new pistons.
Thanks

You can reuse them if in spec. (new 84,00 mm) depending on de state of the pistons you are using the max. space between piston and cilinder should not exceed (0,10 mm) You can purschase oversize (+0,25 mm) pistons from JE or Woesner and have your cilinders honed to that specification. Mahle pistons are not available in oversize.
