Sealing IS stud
 

Working on an early case before re assembly. Any reason not to chamfer and o-ring the IS stud just like the through case bolts??

I would think if you were going to install an o-ring on the stud...it should be OK.
Be careful of the depth of the chamfer...and the thickness of the case at that point.
And remember...in order to seal...you need a washer on top of the o-ring.
