How important are matching wrist pins to pistons?

Hi guys
How important are matching wrist pins to pistons on a 3.3 the machine shop might have mixed them up.
From your experience all wrist pins measure the same?
Thanks
Erick

They should all be the same but I like to match them by weight, mix and match pins and pistons to get each set close to the others.

Not important at all.

Wrist pins vary by less than 1 gram pin to pin

Pistons vary by several grams piston to piston within a set

Thanks guys
From your experience all pins are the same diameter?
Thanks

That's what they are telling you. Same diameter. Which is why you can use their small weight differences (or shave off a bit of weight from one) to help fine tune piston overall balance.
