2.7 heads flycut 070
I bought this set of heads a number of years ago and just got around to checking them out.
Seems someone flycut them .070 At least it appears so as all 6 heads have 070 stamped on them. They look to be well used in this configuration and someone went through the trouble to twin plug them. Since I never saw the engine these came out of I have no idea if thicker cylinders base gaskets were used or if the chain boxes were cut 070 to match. Guess my question would be, Are these better used as paper weights or could these reasonably be used again ?? I'm not into these for a lot of money.. and they need rebuilding.. So, opinions appreciated.... Sorry for the lousy pictures ![]() ![]() |

I would measure them and compare that to the stock measurement. There is no other way to confirm what the "070" actually means.

Stock height is 84.5mm from the head machined top to the sealing surface.
