2.7RS questions

Hi to all, i may have a lead on a 1976 2.7S Carrera. Included is a new set of Mahle 2.7RS pistons/cylinders.

Was wondering if the stock cams will cope with the 2.7RS pistons and Webers. Should i fit my 2.2S cams?

Thanks!

6460379 is a 2.7 911S US49 + Canada Coupe 121 Kw (165 Bhp) motor. That will be a mag case.

What injection are you using?

Plan on fitting Webers with stock CIS pistons, waiting for a set of RS oe JE pistons, more suitable to E-cams and Webers.

Good or bad thing? 7R?
The case hase been case-saved as the seller says. Is there any easy way to check? The engine is out.

Thanks!

I'm sure you will find plenty of comments on the 7R cases in the BBS, do a search. I have a 2.8 litre, 240HP motor with 10.5:1 and MFI, no problem with my 7Rs
