Souk,
What you say seems correct, but the answer to "why?" is a little more involved - my car is a streetable track car, and I want to keep it as stock as possible, so I can also enter concours events (which we have won in class in the past).
We've had it since new, and the factory installed the 18-tube cooler in at our request. So, though I understand and agree that a front valence-mounted cooler is better, my question had to do with using two existing, already-paid-for, oil coolers in such a way that the "stealth" factor of "stock" could be used to my advantage in concours.
So, I think I may try this, with the total expenditure being only the extra oil lines to connect the two. And if it doesn't work, then I can put everything back together again, with nothing lost, except a little time, and with experience gained.
Does this make sense?
