Air Conditioning Restored!

My 2008 128i stopped blowing cold air. I thought the compressor had gone south, but I could hear sounds like the compressor clutch engaging and disengaging. Turns out the blower motor had seized, and some kind of failsafe in the system was turning the A/C off when it detected the cold air was not going where it was supposed to.

A new blower motor and controller from Pelican saved the day. Shockingly easy to install, and the A/C came back as soon as I took it for a drive.
