Fault codes 2fbc/2fbd
 

Hi all i have a problem with my bmw 335i 2007 n54 car i have the following fault code 2fbc fuel supply controle valve signal and sometimes i also get 2fbd the car is running stage 1 mhd map and runs really well...is this a sign of a hpfp failer?

I have a '08 135i and had this issue as well, but it ended up being my fuel pump assembly with the fuel level sending unit (in the gas tank).

From what I've read and heard, the N54 motors are prone to hpfp failures, so you may be right to assume that. I'm including a link to one of our site's DIY tech articles on the fuel pump test and also to an earlier thread where this is discussed - hope this helps you out a bit in troubleshooting.

Will give it a look thanks its not causing any lights on the dash etc so will probably leave it till i get some issues?
