• no start no spark
Have checked battery, it’s fine,
Have replaced starter (it ran for a week then no start again)
Have replaced fuel pump
Have checked all plugs and coils
Have checked battery
I’m in the process of checking all the fuses...
All replaced with genuine parts.....

Hello and welcome to the forum! Since you have a 97' that's OBDII, I would suggest pulling the codes. This should give you a good idea as to where the issue is coming from. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thankyou Dmitry...... yes, suspecting as much as I’ve learnt how to get into the secret menu through the manual application on the computer but , sadly it’s not giving me codes.... and it’s not throwing up any on its own ... so auto electrician with the diagnostic tool is gonna have to be my next step... Grrr.... although after much work and seeing that I now have spark ( as I was testing but not grounding the bloody thing when testing before !, so I’ve got spark now) it’s really really Wanting to start.... while doing this I’ve noticed my key is sometimes not clicking into its first acc position and then it wasn’t clicking to lock position... I’ve put some spray lubricant in the keyhole and it’s definitely the problem too... it’s sometimes sticking etc and I’ve noticed it’s all full of dirt and **** from what I can tell so this would mean it’s my ignition relay starter thingy yes?? Would I just need the black bit or the whole colomn housing unit??? And isvrhis job a ‘do-able’ one?? Keep in mind I’ve change the starter on my car and everyone knows what a C@$? Of a job that is!!! I’m pretty clever and it seems pretty bloody good at this stuff (I’ve surprised myself) but is this problem a new “kettle of fish” (like, it’s electrical isnt it)? ....
