1986 535i starting issues!
Never know when the car will start. sometimes it starts right up, sometimes after a few tries and then other times it won't at all. I turn the key and it will continue to turn over as long as I hold it but it won't start. Does anybody know what could be the problem or know something that could help me out?

got the same problem, that's why i came to the forum myself. it's been kicking my butt, i have a 84 733i, 85 735i and the 87 535i is the knulerhead, it cranks when it wants too, and i'm not having it, it's going to run or i'm part it out with the others.
