Upper Oil Pan Removal On An M60 4.0
According to Bentley, the upper oil pan is supposed to be removed through the rear after lifting the engine, but I don't see how this is possible.
Do any of you have pertinent info about removing the upper oil pan? Please let me know. |

Oil pans
Are you working on a 5 or 7 series car? If it's a 5 then my Bentley states a bit differently than yours. If of interest and it is a e/28/34/39 then I can forward pertinent info

M60 Upper Oil Pan Removal
I have a 1994 530i and I'm removing the upper oil pan. I already removed the lower oil pan. Any suggestions or advice to get this out safely?
