95 525i put engine conected battery alarm went off car wont start
engine turnes over backfires but will not start note;i dont have remote for factory alarm. is car n anti theft mode? i do know fuel rack doesnt seem to b getting gas. looking for answers. only1extremist@yahoo.com

Any luck with this? I would think that it is not alarm related if it is cranking. It does sound similar to when my fuel pump went bad. An easy replace (pricey part), as the pump is under the back seat.
