The next generation M5 is expected to come in two versions, an all electric and plug-in hybrid. For the electric version, it will use 3 total electric motors that push down 1k ponies (HP). The hybrid, you can expect around 750HP from a twin-turbo V-8. Their ultimate goal is to have 25 electric vehicles in their lineup by 2023.
