Performance chip problems
 

I have a 325es year: 1986 5 speed manual. I purchased a performance chip from "Turner" but the car did not start. It only started when I put back the stock chip on the "DME"

I purchased another performance chip from "Bavarian Autosport"
same problem, the car did not start, It only started when I put back the stock chip on the "DME"

The "DME' that my car has was re manufactured by "Programa". at www.programainc.com 0 261 200 027

What is causing this problem? How can I correct it?
