Staintune Baffles/db killers for sale?

Hello All,
My New-To-Me 2000 R1100s came with a Staintune exhaust minus the removable end-baffles/db busters/whatever you call them. It sounds righteous, but it's a little too much of a good thing.... anybody have a pair of them that you'd like to sell?
Thanks,
Dave

FWIW, Staintune, which is in Australia, does a lot of made to order items, including full exhaust systems. Presumably to reduce their cost of goods sold.

It might be worth contacting them to see if they will make you the plugs. I had a Staintune exhaust on one of my old VFRs and they are very nice pieces of kit.

They are definitely available. I recently bought some.
I find they are needed as it's too loud and drony for around town riding.
Regards Mark.

Can you fit a generic db killer onto the exhaust tip?
They are pretty cheap just at your local auto ports store.. like under $20.

I contacted them for some replacement one for my '98 VFR800 a few years ago. I wanted to cut mine down to see if I could make it a little louder, but not as loud as running without. Ithey pointed me to https://touringsport.com/ so I didn't have to pay a premium in shipping from Australia. It turned out that my hamfisted customizing on the ones I had worked, so I never had to order a replacement.

Hmm, Yes, I see that the "Standard Road Restrictors" are listed on their site as well as "Large Volume Restrictors" with a larger I.D.

Has anyone heard them both? I am tempted to try the larger ones so she'll still have a little bark without being obnoxious.....

My RT with its Staintune single can and standard restrictor is quiet but with nice tone, but then again, it has another muffler in place of the cat to help with the silencing.

Decisions, decisions.......

I am not seeing links to exhaust parts on their web page? Only new bike inventory. Which link did you go to, to find the DB killers?

I did'nt see the link either, but a Google search for "Staintune Restrictor" pulled up all the various restrictor options on their site. Perhaps not the best webpage, but I managed to stumble onto them regardless!
Current pricing is 55au apiece.

When I bought mine I spoke with the owner of Staintune.
He suggested the lager bore was best suited for our twins.

Thanks for the intel on the larger bore restrictors. I'll get them ordered so I don't draw too much attention to myself, after all, it's a BMW not a Harley ;-)

At least your bike has a Staintune on it. Hard to come by.
