European Motorcycle Parts -Hungary

Hi I recently ordered and paid for a front RHS mirror for a R12s from European Motorcycle Parts based in Hungary
Just wondering if anyone has dealt with this business as I have paid via Paypal and requested TNT shipping.I have sent at least 6 emails and attempted to ring the number provided on the website without any reply or response
I am very concerned that I may have been scammed
Would be interested in any feedback

Paypal should be able to sort you out if it goes south.

According to google they are permanently closed.
I will try to confirm that for you tomorrow
I highly doubt you fell victim of a scam.

Was this a killer deal?

Mirrors are expensive, for sure, but you can still get them here. https://www.ascycles.com/bmw/2007/R1200S/Body%20Equipment/Mirror.html#PartsTable

My friend who lives near by tried calling their ph# listed ( which is a mobile # )
with no luck so far.
To me it appears to be a one (pehaps two) guy's home operation..
My personal uneducated guess would be that they took a chance with the business and got overwhelmed along the way. I will look further in the next couple days.

Not a lot of info from the OP, how long have you been waiting? With this Covid thing going on the whole world is living by post and from Hungary to the US with customs etc could take weeks.

How come the 6 mails and why is that ? Or just panic or a reason.

Never been a fan of dealing with Eastern Euro folk or companies but that’s just me, if nothing has turned up after 4 weeks...then there may well be a problem

The current global situation we're experiencing could in fact have a lot to do with it.
I waited for a simple envelope from Europe for about six weeks a few months back..(5-6 days normally) I was told that postal sevices have a policy now to hold or what they call "rest" mail and shipment for a period of time before actually forwarding it.
This might be the case here.

Brother we've been trying to reach these people again and again since the 19th. No joy. I seriously thought that by calling them from a local number would yield positive result I was wrong. I don't know what else I could try anymore.

Their website certainly looks legit and professional. They did answer one of our calls though at first when they asked for order # but after that nothing. We thought of paying them a visit but their address is a private house not a store or a shop.

Maybe they were legit, but once a company is in financial trouble anything goes with them.

I share your contention. There are certainly a lot of scam going on out there but I kinda doubtful that someone would create a pro looking website to cheat people by selling used motorcycle parts .
I have trouble entertaining that scenario.

Well good then.
Maybe this will catch their attention. Or not who knows. Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to defend them -I'd be as frustrated as you are- but there could be many reasons behind your experince.
