Posting in the wrong forum and not responding to questions.... That's no way to sell a motorcycle.

The yellow R12s does exist

I found myself up at night not being able to sleep and came across this older post. Love the comments about that the bike does not exist ... I've traced the recent addition to WRBix's post as the original owner! It does exist and now resides in New England!

I think you missed the humor in the above posts from so long ago here. Things were much more lively & entertaining in days gone by.

ps. less caffeine before bed will help you sleep better.

Very funny post. I did enjoy reading the posts as they certainly were more lively. I wish it was caffeine keeping me up. Tha KS for the reply helping keep me grounded, and nice to meet y'all (felt that was appropriate given the southern nature of the post!)

Lol, it just found a new home. She now has a belly pan and am contemplating painting the carbon fiber pan. Thoughts? Here is a mock up. My apologies if it did not get uploaded, or uploaded several times. The board upload isn't clear if it gets uploaded!

Ever since they dropped the charges, ive been able to search the internet again. I messaged wrbix, with no success. It's the benefit of not being able to ride ... speaking of which, Nicole and I went out on the R12... pretty sure she won't be on the back of it very often, if ever again!

Sorry to hear that. I always felt the pillion seat wouldn't be very comfortable, but God bless her for giving it a go

^^ No kidding. But that's what the R1100S was really for. And these days the R1250RS...

One of the big gripes on this board when the R1200S was finally introduced. Along with the radical (at the time) frame & body style, no BMW hard bags in the beginning, candy cane paint...
Now of course the R1200S is very rare and desirable.
