NunBetter Memorial Ride

Hey

How about a few ideas to help friends and family through the grieving process. When a loved one passes, we share memories. This keeps them near to our heart.

Clearly, Mr. Nunley liked riding motorcycles.

What do you think about a County, State, Country, Continental or Global baton ride?

i) A rider or riders sponsors a portion of the County, Globe etc.
ii) They meet with the next sponsor and pass the baton.
iii) The baton returns to the family with many stickers, signatures, greetings and memories.

Memories .... aahh yes...

Baton ideas... riding glove, tailamp lens, license plate...more...?

I will be happy to sponsor any part of the Western States.

I'm in. I'm on Long Island.

A spare helmet of his as a baton? Sealed at the bottom: filled with cards to him (slid through the visor)?

That's a great idea. Count me in. SF area.

Maybe something digital? Photos, mpegs, and messages input?

I'll represent Central Texas (Austin area) and share responsibilities there if any other central Texans care to share them. I'll even take, say, from the TX/LA border near Orange, TX to Austin.

When the going gets tough, I'll make enchiladas.

And to whoever passes the 'shannon baton' to me is more than welcome to spend a night at my home in Daytona Beach, FL. Free Garage to park your bike, free place to sleep, free beer, and good company.

Any friend of Shannon's is a friend of mine.

I think this is a GREAT idea. I can't think of a more appropirate way to honor our lost brother.

Jersey and Eastern PA reported but I would love to be in, too. I could cover Manhattan and Brklyn or Queens and handoff to Eff!!

If it comes to NC I'm in. Also hospitality to whomever passes the baton or whatever.

I'll start the fun off in the only state with only a single other state bordering it ... the frigid northern new england state o' Maine. Due to the kinship I feel for Shannon, I'll ride as far as needed; PA, NY, OH ... wherever the road leads.
