My 999 was fun to look at, listen to, ride fast, and look good doing it.
. . There's 4 things it did for me. Oh yea, put some wood in my life too.

Steve-
You are amazing! I tried for about 45 minutes last night using photoshop elements...no dice. Looks good! Any chance of making the tank red and seat black?

well if you're all going to art direct:
get rid of that humongous front fender bracket ("aw crap, the front fenders keep breaking off....screw it, let's bolt this on" . ditch the "gidget" headlight, go tiny and lcd. where'd they get those headlights, sears or jc whitney? was somebody having a "dump sale"? same with the mickey mouse ear mirrors. and they'd better return those bullet turn indicators before that sport bike guys realizes they're missing. add handguards toss the sidestand, install ISDE-type centerstand. move the pipe's exhaust can up..it's gonna get munched. add a toolbag to the rear fender. engine guards would be nice. extend the fork legs another 3 inches, ala' Maico offset forks. slap on another disc on the right front. (that oughta keep you "choppers" busy!).

Thanks Johnny!!
And now a re-sized side by side.... Amazing what a little color can do!!! Considering that it is just a photoshop image, I'd still have to say that the HP looks still looks tougher. Note also that as sexy as the Duc's exhaust is, it is a show bike, and therefore has not catalytic converter. How ever all production Duc's now com with a converter that is in the same spot as the R1100S's cat. I think I am selling myself on an HP....either that or a Sports Classic....or that brunette at the BMW stand in Milan. Well, the only way I will know for sure is if I take 'em for a ride.
