Not on a 24.4 dial-up conncetion, Sergio... plus, so far I really don't have that many... the weather up the coast was crap and I had not much of an inclination to stop and take pics...

That's going to change now, though as I will be venturing into territory unknown to me... there will be more video and picture taking.

The next time I'll have WiFi, I shall post...

DANGIT, my timing is screwed... ah well, I'll just wave and say HI to them, Randy...

Cool, Bill... and I'll turn around with you then... I don't like dirt roads at all!

Again, good luck and hope to see you on the way back. Tomorrow should be great to actually hit the road and start moving north.
ahh the good ol' Gumby frame. Yeah man I've done a few road trips on my old 2stroke triple.

Hi Ralf,
That's a tidy little article you wrote for the BMW OM. Just got my issue. Nicely done!
Hope the repairs go well and all you wear out from here on in is tires...
Cheers,
Ian

the frustration is mounting, the parts I got were not the right ones, BMW messed up and packed the wrong stuff... it's all moot, however, since my master is f'd up...

Lucky me, I know a guy just around the corner who has a parts bike ... man, am I glad I kept his number! I tried both BMW Dealers within reach and they do not have one in stock. Ozzie's BMW in Chico was jumping through HOOPS for me, though... I can only highly recommend those folks from the exp0erience I made today!

VERY HELPFUL!

So, tomorrow I am going to meet Cameron again and I'll be getting Calipers (just in case) and the front master... if that does not fix the problems I am having, I'll go back home...

Ralf-

Don't let it get you down. You are only a week into a three month trip. Take the time to get the bike running right and then continue on the rest of the trip.

Good luck,

Are the back brakes working? That's all you need! Heck you are going to be on the the dirt soon and just give your self a couple hundred extra feet to stop and you'll be fine.

I'm giving you a few more days then I am driving up there with a bunch a parts from Tuna's stash and McGiverin sumthin!

If Ralf can't get the brakes fixed, he should just buy another bike locally and do the trip with it. How about an IZH Planeta 5.
