i decided not to buy the black one, i don't know why, even it looked the best deal?? something inside my head said no don't do this ....... so...
instead I bought a red striped one, with bos exhaust and abs and larger back wheel, with 8000 km. and feel happy, i paid a deposit and pick it up next thursday
can't wait to drive it.. hehe

Good choice on the R12S. I kinda new here too. Plenty of good info and tips. Just remember, on a 12, the last 25% of the twist grip is where the magic lies.

twist grip...heard something funny the other day. a new wild man in the 250 mx class is justin barcia. the guy rides...to put it nicely...exceptionally loose. okay, he's all over the track. he's wild, but he's fast.

most pros have their mechanics put safety wire around the throttle grip, to ensure that it stays in place and doesn't rotate or slip in the heat of battle. two loops (one near each end of the grip) are considered sufficient for the average MX pro.

barcia's throttle grip has four.
